Tonight's dinner pretty much sums Katie up perfectly. We had a quick errand to run after school so we stopped at Suburban. The girls walked away with a free back of popcorn. They ate this between 5:15 and 5:30. At about 5:45 we sat down for dinner at the Salty Iguana. Within 5 minutes of being there Katie had polished off a cup of oranges. She then went into freak out mode refusing to play or be distracted by anything. Ever few minutes she screamed at the top of her lungs. I knew she wanted more food, but there is a limit to how starving she could be. The food arrives at 5:55. She is so beside herself she can't even wait for me to get things settled. I give her food and she starts shoveling it into her face. She continues to eat at a frantic pace. I gave her a bite of beans. From then on she wouldn't let me eat because she wanted food as fast as she could eat. Finally she was stuffed. So what does she do?
Put in her pacifier in her mouth, lay her head on the table and start to close her eyes.
This picture doesn't do her tummy her justice. It was popped out and hard as a rock.
