Day 4 of a very sick kid.  Went to the doctor.  Fever at 103, but can't find a thing wrong with her except for a low white blood cell count!  Ugh!

Tonight was spent wrapping Christmas presents.  Tubby loves this time of year.  I'm not a fan of sharing the experience with the cat.  He gets so worked up over the boxes, tissue paper and ribbon that he goes crazy.  He bit me!  I'm so not a fan of his!

A trip to Savers for Katie ended up being a baby swing for Emily and diaper changing station for Kira.  Go figure.

Emily has been very into wrapping gifts for all of us.  These gifts are random things that she's pulled from old magazines.  It's a nice thought, but getting tad overwhelming!

A couple of summers ago, Emily picked a naked mole rat for her gift from the Henry Doorly Zoo.  I had never heard of such a thing and figured that I would never hear of it again.  That is until Emily managed to pick this book up at school:
